IREAD, founded by social entrepreneurs and development professionals, empowers youth and women to advocate for human and constitutional rights, fostering a peaceful, educated, and compassionate society.

Over the past three years, IREAD’s founders have passionately collaborated with grassroots organizations across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Baluchistan to promote rights, social advancement, and community empowerment.

IREAD’s social entrepreneurs inspired thousands of young people, community members and community based organizations through their various practical interventions in communities’ including but not limited to capacity building trainings, awareness raising, campaigning, community development, strengthening local CBOs, and youth led initiatives on similar themes with a vision to empower for change that nurture peaceful, educated, and compassionate world.

Vision

IREAD envision peaceful, empowered, educated, and compassionate world where the human rights are protected and relished.

Mission

IREAD mission is, to unfasten the potential of youth and communities for empowerment and social advancement through promotion and protection of human rights that enables them to strive for communities’ transformation.

Goal

IREAD major aim is to work for development of human resources, promotion of social and economic wellbeing of the masses, improvement of social status, social mobilization for prosperous society, and elimination of gender discrimination particularly in the rural areas of Pakistan.

Specific Objectives

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

Promote and protect Human and Constitutional Rights of all; mainly the vulnerable and neglected segment of society i.e women, children, minorities and youth.

Promote democratic values and civic education in country through youth engagement and empowerment for building peaceful and prosperous society.

Promote and encourage gender equality, women and girls’ empowerment mainly in deprived and rural areas.

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all with specific consideration for girls, women and minorities.

Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth through exploring productive opportunities including entrepreneurship specifically for young people and women.
